That description is a bit to short for a SoundDesigner. Can you please tell us more details for each individual sound, that you need? What kind of sounds do you have in mind for that?
I'm only a beginner in Sound Design and i do not know, if you need electronic sounds (e. g. Synthesizer Sounds) or edited "real" sounds for that, like a Voice saying something or e. g. a Zombie saying "Roaaah" or such.
Noisy Greetings,
Ingo
PS: For the Cursor Moving Sound i imagine a short Noise Sound, that sounds like a Zombie is scuffleing/shuffleing. Like he/she is walking slow and one leg is broken and that broken leg is pulled by him/her after his/her body.
Sorry for the Double Posting, but:
I created such a Sound Effect with a Synthesizer. Here is a Quick MP3 Preview:
http://www.seele07.de/projekte/freesound/if_zombie_movement.mp3
There are two versions: One High Quality Version in Mono and Stereo and one lower Quality Version in Mono and Stereo (in one mp3)
If you agree and want this sound for your Game in WAV File Format, then i'll upload it to FreeSound.
As you may know, after uploading the Sound, it needs a bit of time, if the Administrators or Moderators checked and added the sound to the freesound database.
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
PS: i hope, i had been some help to you
well i wasnt really look for a style in particular... just something soft...hmmm i have sound right now but they are copyrighted so i need to replace them
you can hear the sound right at the beginning of this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onx8nKuJQeQ
that's the sound i need to replace
and that zombie sound would be good i would use it for cancel not cursor movement
Well, i watched the beginning of the Video. The Game looks good; i like 2D Games .
About the Sounds:
Ok, you want to use the sound, that i created. I'll upload it in a few moments; but you'll have to wait, until it is added to the freesound database. I'll tell you here, if that happened.
I see; you need a soft "bleep" sound for the Menu. Maybe i can create one for you, but i am not sure, because i am a beginner in Sound Design. Please wait a few minutes...
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
So, here is my Idea for such a "Bleep" Sound:
http://www.seele07.de/projekte/freesound/if_bleeps01.mp3
This is a mp3 preview. If you find one of the presented Sounds usefull, then i'll upload it to freesound.
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
EDIT:
I added the Zombie Movement Sounds to Freesound. Please be patient until it is available on the main page and in the database. Thank you .
EDIT2:
The Zombie Movement Sounds are now available for Download in the FreeSound-Database:
http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=72586
http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=72587
You may want to cut one of the Sounds out of the whole wav file - if you need help with that, tell me, and i'll explain it for you.
What about this? ->
http://www.seele07.de/projekte/freesound/if_bleeps31.mp3
The first one has a little horror feeling to it and the second is more melodic.
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
Hello,
i do not know, if i get you right. You don't want a sounds with an ending part that just fades out and you want a more "solid" sound. Can you, please, describe, what you mean with "solid" (sound)?
Should i "erase" the fade out or shorten it? Or what do you have in mind for that? A complete different and new sound?
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
Hello,
hmm, i'll try and see, what i can do. What if i try to imitate a sound similar to the menu-selecting sound you used in the video? i know, that my first results will sound different, and maybe we get a sound, that fits your needs, while experimenting?!
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
Okay. I will start to experiment later or a day after tomorrow, because tomorrow, i will visit my mother (she lives in a different town, and i have no car..) the whole day; so the next day, that i will be able to experiment with sounds, is Saturday.
Soundfull Greetings,
.Ingo.
