For a while now we had a little side project called audio donation. Small recording sessions with various people to record sample catalogs of wordless interpretations and reactions, like for example being shoved or heaving heavy items.
Die idea is to have ready sets of "nameless bystanders" available, to give scenes more continuity and reactions.
Today we made an english video guide, so people can add themselves to the project. Everything we record is uploaded under cc0 licence on freesound.
Would love for people here to take half an hour and record themselves so they can be added to the collection.
The guide is here:

Cool project. I too have tried to create creative ecologies like this, but it is hard. This forum isn't very active and it is hard to find willing users anywhere.
Well how can I even think about saying no with a name like yours?!
I *just* discovered this site (I admit, I was really looking for sound bites from Better off Ted... But this site is sooooo much cooler) and hopefully I don't forget to come back during not midnight-thirty and check out your guide and see if I even have the proper equipment to participate
This is an awesome project - could be super useful in text based games to give the hint of NPCs talking or thinking, but without having to voice everything!
