I am expecting a baby any day now, and do plan to record it. I doubt I'll have the baby, record the sounds and then upload them until at least mid january.
You may need to prod me to remind me. I am guessing it'll be busy and hectic for a time.
Cheers.
I have a 5 month old girl and she is a little angel (sleeps 10hrs straight a night) and i have been recording her sounds to make a track out of. Obviously i am suffering from first child syndrome cos we have hundreds of photos of her and she i will have her first song finished soon. Getting her to make bass sounds is difficult though i will have to capture a big post titty burp.
Anyway i have some sounds to upload as soon as i figure out how,I will put them up (I am on dial up so i will upload them as mp3's)
I could put them on my sites server or email them (20 sounds 400k) They are short goo Wa type sounds no crying though)
I have recordings from birth to 4yrs , baby girl .. and my second girl but she has a CPAP breathing system to help her breath , her sound all have a different type of tone to them .. even one of her going into respetary failure and then recovery (plenty of background noice)
more detail and I'll just record some for you
Cheers all.
I already have a 3 year old who is now at the "NO!!" stage. We all seem to say it alot at the mo.
New bub is fine and mainly cries and makes weird breathing noises.
Still... recording and will post up sooner or later.
Just alittle busy at present.
*Here's hoping that it not 40 degrees centigrade with a strong hot wind where you are!!
Ha, I just uploaded a first set of samples to freesound, and they are infant sounds. Unfortuntately, they are crying sounds. He *was* making funny cooing-pteradactyl sounds, but by the time I had the microphone ready, he'd moved into crying.
Ah well, maybe something less stressful next time. The microphone is ready now....
 just listening to those samples made me chuckle. Imagine all these blokes hovering over their kids with microphones and headphones etc wondering whether to do another take.....
"ARE YOU GONNA SORT THE NOISE OUT OR WHAT?!?" is heard bellowed from another room....
