I'm after mobile phone keypad clicks, the sound it makes when the fingertip presses down on a mobile phone (or Blackberry) keypad. I do know about Elonen's key clicks, but as I'm already using that sample in one piece I'd prefer to use a different one in this piece. Any ideas for where to look?
Thanks so much,
-Sage
It's actually the physical sound I'm after, the sound it would make even if the phone was off. This is the one I've used in the past:
So what exactly do you want - a single keypress, multiple keypresses (how many keys dialling a US number or a number in another country or SMS) how fast, how slow etc?
I have decided to spend my money on recording things instead of new phones, so my phone is quite old, but I recorded it just in case. Perhaps something in there is useful!
Amazing how differnet those keystrokes sound with different headphones/speakers. In my cheap Sennheiser HD205's it sounds like an old fashioned typewritter. In my USB phones it sounds like mobile phone keystrokes and in an old set of hi fi phones it sounds like someone tapping a pencil......
For what it's worth, here is my attempt:http://www.david-higgins.com/sound/Mobile Phone Keystrokes.wav

Thanks so much! That's just the sound I was after. I really appreciate it.
