need it a sound like wings fluttering slowly thru the air . . . . like a big bird . . .

How soon do you need this?
It is a sound I myself am much wanting to capture ...
there are opportunities near where I live for Swans
and Canada Geese ... but the weather is perishingly
cold at present.

In a couple weeks I expect to record storks but who knows, large birds are not easy to get close...
Take a long tube- or best - a dried up long ( at least three foot) sprig of something like cow parsley and whoosh it repeatedly past a mic...or in between two would be amazing...you might want to slow it down for more grandeur...I mean as a sample
