hi !!

great place Bram !!
I'd love to get a good well recorded whip sound , y'know that whoosh and the cracking of the whip on the ground. Would like to use it as a snare sound.

will try to either find a buggy whip I have somewhere, or make you a composite of sounds that are *like* a whip. I have that sound on a library CD - but that would be cheating...

get back to you in a day or so.

I put two versions of a "whip" sound - made with a twirling cable and a firecracker - wish I had a bamboo stick for the swish, but the USB cable seemed to do the job.

Thanks freqman. I'll use that sound as a kinda clap variation , but the whipcrack i sorta had in mind was more of a whoosh ..like...wwwwwwwwhikish to throw in a track at a random moment in place of a clap or a snare. Hope this doesnt sound ungrateful cos its definitely not implied.
