I NEED high quality tom samples from high to low. I'm looking for a tight trigger-like sound but with sum beef to it. Think Pantera. Thanx.

... throw some compression and a little mid-high range snap with EQ and minimal reverb and you should get the sound you want... I have thousands of drum samples I found free online but I cannot post them here... compressed (MP3,etc) sounds and 22k wavs won't give you that presence you are looking for... Most the Pantera drum sound is in the kick drum... the high end bite and slight reverb on the doublebass makes it stand out in the mix and compliment the crunch... There are Dr Rythym drum machine samples around on the web that have a great thrash metal kick drum. I know a few of the sites I used to get free sampels from are charging now, but there are still some great free ones out there... Use google and the following search words:
"tom" "drum" "16bit" "44k" "wav"
