I'd be super appreciative of a decent stereo recording of a chorus of spring peepers (frogs that make high pitched chirping noises in the spring).
I've looked all over the web and found some on sounddogs.com, but the quality was shit (big suprise).
Gracias,
T
well the free previews dont sound very nice, but maybe the real deal would be? I dunno though never bought anything there.
There are some chirping frogs in the creek by my house, but they haven't made any noise since last month.
If they start chirping again I'll see if I can get a good recording of them for you.
Anton- yeah I purchased the sample I'm referring to at sounddogs.com. They claim that the samples you pay for are always of CD quality but thats rarely the case.
Halleck- yeah, spring peepers usually stop their mating calls around the end of May, at least thats how it is in the ponds/swamps of upstate New York. Try throwing some green M&Ms in the creek, maybe that will help them out
Anyone know of any other web site with a large selection of samples that you can search & download? And pay for if necessary?
