Can anyone find a non-SID format for sounds that were included in games for the Commodore 64? I've been dying to get my hands on some wav's from some old games but everything has been the old SID format and my software wont support it. Can anyone help me out?
Remember that you can also use programs such as XMPlay to write SID files to WAV (with a SID plugin, and LAME if you want it to write to mp3.)
I convert my favorite C64 tunes like so: SID -> WAV -> MP3 -> iPod.
