Can someone record a person screaming "NUCLEAR GENOCIDE" and have a realistic explosion follow behind it?
It's for a new song im producing right now and my microphone gets really scratchy when i speak into it.
It needs to be quick because its the intro to the song and the drums are going to explode right after it. Roughly 2-3 seconds if possible. Thanks!
P.S. I need it in .wav format please!
I'm not really into screaming, and my son declined ... but I have just uploaded "NuclearGenocide.wav" with six samples. Any good?
For the explosion I used http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=17226 by "meatball4u". If there are any explosions on Freesound that you would prefer, let me know, or mix it yourself!
If you need it in a hurry, tell me your email address.
Mike
Oh, well I actually improvised with something else so I dont need it anymore but thanks anyway. I appreciate the help.
Well, it seems a shame that Acclivity went through all that trouble and for nothing to come of it...
so I threw together a little sample piece with ACID. I used his "Nuclear Genocide" enhanced the explosion and added a few sounds I had of my own (and from Sound Ideas libraries) finally sprinking it with VO from Atomic Cafe.
loading it now at http://www.texasradiotheatre.com/ftp/goodies/nuke_thing.wav
I'm more of a sound artist than a musician - so please keep that in mind. I normally use ACID to create music beds and incendental music accents for my productions and sound design projects.

I have no idea what "incendental music" is... nor do I make incendiary or insinuatory music...
Some have suggested insanitary... and there may be a microbe of truth to that,
but I actually meant "Incidental music", ... just don't ever ask me to spell it.

Hahaha well you should hear the song intro as it is now, it sounds 10x's better than it would if I had the screaming...
I should actually just have one of the mods delete this since its pointless now.
I greatly appriciate the effort acclivity.

The Atomic Cafe was a movie produced in 1982 - IMDB says "A disturbing collection of 1960s United States government issued propaganda films designed to reassure Americans that the atomic bomb was not a threat to their safety."
You can find mp3 and wav files all around the internet.
I used this site: http://www.clayloomis.com/acafe.html "Clay's Atomic Cafe Wav Page"
A lot of the material used in making the film were government information shorts and documentaries - As a result, these may be in the public domain - but don't take my word for it - with anything that deals with copyright it's best to be cautious especially if you use it to make money.
