hi guys- first post
im looking for a ambient crowd noise of people in a cinema or a theatre, so a populated sound, whispers, yet in a contained space. ive tried some other crowds: bars, ques, etc, but not quite the same. can anyone please di-rect me or help?

If that's good enough quality for you, I can go back to my footage and look for some "quiet" crowd noises, like when the lights go down but the play hasn't started yet.

Okay, I've uploaded two samples. They're a bit short (~14 seconds each) but I think they might have what you're looking for. The first has some muted conversation before the performance beigns. The second has some coughing, fidgeting, and creaking of chairs while the audience waits in the dark for the next act to begin.

Sorry I couldn't get longer samples, but I was concentrating on taping the performances at the time and just happenened to get these crowd noises while I was pre-rolling the camera. I have some more of the same from different sections of the tape that I could upload, if what you need is length.
