I'm scared to post this, after the discussion on the other post.
its an industrial funk track called I Am FM. The samples i used from freesound are:
Mobile Interference By Streety (me.. i know ops
Now, umm, please review it.
I Am FM [CCMixer]
Good.
It'sgotanicebeatandyoucandancetoit... Then it gets funky.
Nice use of the mobile sound... At first I thought it was my own phone putting interference on the speakers...
I have some thoughts on the vocals... write if you want more details.
Freqman --- aka FM
aka Rich
Ah rich, FM...you are FM. any way - why would i not want more details on the vocals?
dude that's fucking tight. that shit ain't no industrial. GREAT WORK- see people THAT'S A GOOD TUNE. the vocals are good. you could bring them up a bit more so they stand out-but not really needed. they don't sound like they are in tune but i'm sure i'm wrong-with that said however, i think it addeds to the song. good shit man-really liked it.
was it some kinda spot for a radio show? didn't really seem like a song itself more so a bit piece.
8 out of 10
Dude the clap needs some work, its dry and sounds very standard FL or anyother program for that matter. Other than that good job
This will no doubt serve to condemn me more than anything else but ...
To me there were two completely unrelated "songs" arbitrarily split up and stuck together, giving a very disjointed effect. I found the opening beat cheesy. The two women singing I think "I want you, I need you" could just as well have been singing about the weather - there was no sense of feeling in what they sang. There was no tune or melody - just a short riff at one point, which was OK.
What did the title have to do with it? What was the mobile interference for? So many questions, so little time...
I'd already told streety it wasn't my cup of tea! Sorry this fan club thing doesn't work the other way round! Maybe I need to go to modern music school ... but there again, perhaps I won't bother.
ah, so you all know the two different songs was done on purpose, as though someone was retuning a radio....hope you got that!
thanks for your kind comments!
just doesn't sound "finished"; sounds like you started out making a good song but didn't follow through production-wise.
