It's been slow going (wish I had the money for a highspeed connect...), but I'm almost done uploading. Still a few more to come.
Some months ago I unpacked my old Apple IIgs computers and their hard drives. Little by little I'm getting old projects off of them and moving it all to new equipment that actually dates to this century. One of the projects I found was an hour-long noise piece from 1994 called She Comes Through the Television.
Originally released as a series of 100 recycled cassettes given away at open mic nights and other gatherings, I doubt a single one is still left in existence aside from #42 which I kept for myself mostly because I like the number. It's really not that great of a piece when you compare it to the noise stuff that's been done since (and before, come to think of it...).
Anyhoo, I've gone and put the piece into digital format, cleaning up a few things that I didn't like, and restoring it to its originally-intended uninterrupted sixty-minute length. When I get a fast connection I'll upload it, probably to archive.org, just to get it off of my hard drive. But I've also got all these original sound files left over and it really seems a shame to just delete them, so I'm putting them here.
Enjoy!
wow, i REEEALLY want to hear the whole piece when it's done. it sounds awesome. can you send me a message when it's done and i can hear it? if it's not going to be a bother.

Oh, it's done now. I'm just working on getting the thing uploaded. Even in .fla it's 360 megs.
