hey folks,
I found myself coming here for a horse sound today for my latest patch and realized I never shared...
Last month I finally released my first first iPhone game (i guess i'm the typical indie developer with a day job etc in that respect). And an awful lot of the sounds I used came from here. Most in fact, I only made 2-3 myself. Though, I had to mix/master all them at some level. At any rate I wanted you all to know that it's out there and how much i appreciate this site and the contributions. I did credit everyone whose sounds I used and the site itself. Indeed it's like a good 2 pages of the credits. If ya get a wild hair and want to check out some images from the game go to www.facebook.com/tumulusoffen or if ya want to try the game out itself it's at itunes.apple.com/us/app/id443778720 .
The credits are only available after you beat the game... so in case you are curious and don't want to buy and play through the whole game here is the list
acclivity, Anton, Benboncan, billy_magnum, Bitbeast, BristolStories, CGEffex, cinemafia, cmusounddesign, confusion_music, datasoundsample, davidou, digifishmusic, DJ Chronos, dobroide, ERH, FranciscoPadilla, hans, hello_flowers, Incarnadine, james duckett, JoelAudio, juskiddink, JVKPRO, kijjaz, ljudman, m_O_m, NoiseCollector, novino, oscillator, poots, primordiality, qubodup, reinsamba, Robinhood76, roscoetoon, scarbelly25, Sea Fury, sharkmail, SoundMunger, Spandau, SylverMonk, thanvannispen, THE_bizniss, Timbre, Wolfsinger, yewbic
Again thanks so much everyone! - James Scheibel

Is it? the license agreement said "Such credit may be implemented in any reasonable manner". Since I didn't put anyones credit in the game before that point, i figured it was reasonable to put them all together where everyone else's is. I didn't do it for any other reason than I liked the idea of having the credits roll at the end. (call it artistic reasons if you like, retro games were all that way) people are more inclined to watch/enjoy them there. I can make the credits (at least the free sound folk) reachable from the options screen in the game in the next patch. That's easy enough and i'm not trying to step on anyones toes. consider it done!
*edit * I should ask, that will do wont it? I really don't want to upset anyone. I'm just trying to make a video game and fit keep it in to the vision I had. I want everyone to be happy!
I went ahead and made the alteration to make identifying who did what easier. I added a button called licensing on the options screen that show what came from where. I don't think it takes away from the magic of the credits at the end and will hopefully assuage anyone's concerns on giving proper credit to the sources of the sounds. It lists all the links to all the files used and the accounts of those that made them. (though many have been altered to a point that would make them hard to know where they were used in the production.) The change wont be out till apple approves my latest patch (and i finish testing it, there are other things in the patch. its a big patch!)
I also added the very same links to my website for the game (which acts as the help for the game, so you can get there from the current game.) You can check it out here http://tumulusoffen.com/licensing.aspx . I really do appreciate this repository and the efforts of those who have contributed. I've spent countless hours working on/with sounds because of this project and I know just how hard it can be to create that certain sound you want. As always thanks everyone!
Thank you so much for being so responsive, I really appreciate a genuine effort made to attribute properly.
Even though I didn't create any of the sounds you used, seeing your interest in respecting the license terms and the recordists who authored the audio you used gives me a big happy.
Just a little update i put out a free version of the game if anyone wants to give it a look but didn't want to pay for it. (it's just 1 dungeon level and hand full of the monsters. only part of the town as well) here's a link http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id452544580 The licensing button is still on the options screen in that version. Also I lowered the price of the full version to 1.99.
