Just thought I'd let you all know about a little creative exercise myself and a friend are doing..

In the spirit if the 'Dare The Community' section of these forums, myself and a friend (recording under the names 'Sweetie' and 'Paper Colleague' respectively) are embarking on a collaborative project over the next few weeks.

Here's what we're doing:

At the start of the week one of us chooses a sound from Freesound.org. We must then each compose a track using only the chosen sample.

The sample can be multiplied, reversed, mangled, chopped up and messed with in anyway - but the chosen sample is the only sound source allowed.

The fruits of this challenge will be posted weekly here: http://onetinyelement.wordpress.com and in the spirit of freesound.org will be made available under a creative commons license...
