Hello everyone! I have a new song out on www.myspace.com/gruppocrudo, featuring a few samples from The Freesound Project, the song (a rap in Italian), called "Suonolibero" also quotes this website repeatedly and celebrates the way new technologies might help creative thinking.
We're gonna release our first album on a CC License on Jamendo.com pretty soon, and we might use some more Freesound samples for some of the tracks. I'll keep this forum up to date, in the meanwhile, drop by, have a listen and tell us what you think. Cheers

Has to be the first time Freesound was name-dropped in a hip-hop track, especially an italian one.

BTW, if you could post "Suonolibero" somewhere other than myspace it would be cool, the download from myspace keeps cutting out.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the support. I know Myspace makes it hard to download (thanks for wanting to download, by the way!). We're working on a number of tracks and hope to finish the album in a month or so... It'll be on Jamendo.com and maybe CCMixter, should be a lot easier to download then. We'll keep you up to date, in the meanwhile, keep visiting the space and spreading the word!
