Desperately seeking xmas-like ambience for an alternative-industrial-experimental track I was composing I discovered this site.

thanks for trying to find the track (direct link is http://www.myspace.com/gothicknowledge) - it's the first one called "Silent Knight" and the advice.

in terms of Xmas ambience I was thinking, snowy footsteps, bells etc and managed to find the samples used.

It turns out that this brief requires something that is overall "dark ambient" - a genre I'm just having to find out about - 3 days left to compose a new piece to fit !

i went back to the drawing board and ended up creating something (without any freesound samples) based on We Three Kings.

this new one WILL be appearing on the Dark Winter compilation "A Candle's Golden Glow" on December 20th.
