Hey,
I am a new member here and just finished a composistion where I used quite a few samples from the site.
The tune is called "ear to the Rail" and you can find it on my myspace page:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=120031158
Here is a list of the user names of whose samples I used:
ERH
stomachache
bgygi
Jimmy60
LS
hanstimm
Kwazi
JimPurbick
corsica
connum
Krlox
offthesky
Halleck
Thanks to all the folks whose samples I used.......
A special thanks to ERH who I found thru myspace and freesound then thru him (and also for his fantastic sounds!)
If anyone would want specific minute marks where there sample occurs and which I used I would be happy to supply them.

Thanks ERH and stomachache , you both have very original and cool myspace pages to go along with the excellent samples you have here...(no suprise for me there)
hammerklavier, Thanks for listening and the nice words.......I play Guitar, Bass, keyboards and do some drum programming, tho I have also used other players to augment what I do and it. The vocals are samples, I am very influenced by the late great Joe Zawinul, though he often had singers in his group he also used vocal samples, Joe's late period music was often called world music, a term that is ambiguous at best.....One of the things I dug about Joe was, is instead of trying to mimic another cultures music he would just let the influence seep into what he was about, something I try to do as well with various levels of success. Thanks for checking it out.

Fantastic! Nice work. I love all the texture and the guitar work.
