Any ideas, what bird sings here?
ERH suggested a Reed warbler and he might be right!

Yes, it sounds much like one. You can compare with this other sample in which Acrocephalus arundinaceus dominates:

Hi everybody,
the bird is definitely an European Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus), not Acrocephalus arundinaceus, the Great Reed Warbler (as Dobroide presumed)
You can compare all of the four most common Acrocephalus species songs on this very good site from Finland:
Reinsamba
That's it then - a definitive answer from reinsamba - mine was at best an educated guess. You know this site would be a great resource for students of bird sounds and can only get better as more are added, not only in terms of the increasing number of different birds we have recorded here but also in the variety of sounds for any one species.
One great addition to freesound 2 would be the ability to add images to sound descriptions so that either an image of the bird or the habitat where it was recorded could be included.
