I know how it usually goes. I find a great sound here at the Freesound Project and I incorporate it into my music.

This time, though, I had the music and I created some great sounds to share here at the Freesound.

I created two bits of noise

I played a little bit of a musical noodle, and then distorted it by fiddling with various effects as it played.

And for my song - Something Like Oxygen - http://thatjeffcarterwashere.blogspot.com/2012/02/something-like-oxygen.html

I put together a short chord loop and let it play over and over and over again as I fiddled with the effect knobs.
