Hello everybody,

My name is Mat O'Neill.

For the past few weeks I've been working with Vexationon Audio on episode 1 of a new audio drama called Nova Star Hunters. A huge number of the sound effects and music for the show were found right here on freesound and I'd love for you all to hear the results.

Hi Mat,

thanks for letting us know, it looks very good.
Only thing I don't like, is the way you credit individual samples: a link to the attribution list generated real-time at Freesound. This way imposes a load on FS each time someone wants to see it (yours is a very long list), wouldn't it be simpler to extract the list's content to a text/html file and then host it at your side? Would be nicer to the FS server... (and more close to reality, as this list will continue to grow in the near future, whenever you download new samples)

So our technical ineptitude has shown itself at the first furlong!

Thanks for the advice, mate - I'll get the Cog Otter on that straight away (I had no idea it could put a strain on freesound!)

Also - I recognize your username... I'm pretty sure I've used one or more of your samples in the show. Did you upload a heartwrenching sample of a pig being slaughtered? If so, it's in the last scene (I dropped the pitch to make it sound like a wraith).
