Hello freesounders,
For an experiment I have made a video on vimeo.com without (just a bit) visual information.
I have two questions;
1] Do you think you need pictures/ images/ visual information in a video to understand what's going on (t)here?
2] is it boring/interesting?
It would realy appreciate if you can give me as much info as possible about what you were thinking during 'looking' this 35 minute video.
the link to the video: http://vimeo.com/171223045
thanks in advance
Regards klankbeeld

What annoys me most is that you don’t get any answers, I mean from other freesounders. I have seen, mostly heard, your video 3 month ago. I did not reply then, but I do now.
"Zien met je oren" in Swedish is “Se med öronen”. Okay. No, I don’t really like this video. I think constantly dark would have been better. Maybe with some text information, subtitles... Why? Because I know it’s daytime as the sounds are captured – maybe. But it is a nice experiment that should not be undone.
At first you wonder “why is there is a speaker voice in this place”? But I think I get the explanation later on. The answer. I have gezien met de oren.
If you know the language maybe you get it faster…
You do wonder where you record and film this. I have tried to find the spot…
…And don’t check my sounds or music.
Then my post did some good...
So levelclearer, what do you think?
When you can hear something, but can not see it, some particular part of your mind starts to work, which normally is idle as the video stream goes through your eyes. For this reason no multybillion video with costive FX can spur your imagination like a good talented radioplay.

Thank you very much for your comment. For my long-term project very useful.
I want to make the most boring movie ever.
Your imput is great.
Thank you very much.
