Dear soundartists and members of freesound.org!
I would like to say a special thank you and praise for the wonderful and high-quality sounds that I already use or will use in my current film project(s)!
If you are interested and would like to know how and in what context I specifically use one of your sounds in my work, you can find out here:
The project is still in the starting blocks and currently there is only a short test video on my Youtube channel and thus only a small insight into my work. It was difficult for the intro of my film works to find the right word to describe the way I create new works and overall compositions with completely copyright free sounds, but hopefully I did everything right in your own way.
Best regards,
Theseus1
If you want to see how I have integrated your sound into a new work of art, follow the link below:
@nemaavla:
Hello nemaavla,
Thank you for your question.
I used overtones for this intro because I love overtone singing because it shows the broad capacity of the human voice and natural sounds.
The other reason for me for overtones is, that they are an authentic part of the roots of singing in antiquity. Overtones are some of the most interesting sounds for me.
For the reason that I also produce films in the field of experimental archeology and because it is unclear how ancient cultures such as the ancient Egyptians actually had made music and sang, my opinion is that overtones are the right choice.
The rest comes from pure intuition, personal taste and artistic freedom.
Kind regards,
Theseus1
@nemaavla:
That would be great! I would be very happy about that!
I had made experiments with a Digeridoo, but my experience is to low because of missing practising.
Just imagine, that priests of ancient times (of specific cultures) had shout, sum and sing into a cave, a whole, a tunnel or something else. Just imagine, you stand in a - into the stone - digged out tunnel in the ground under a pyramid and make a shout, a whisper, a speak ... - that´s what i hear in my fantasy, when i think about this theme and that would fit perfect to ancient egypt, as i think ...
Best wishes,
Theseus1
P.S.: For to get a better connection to the theme, just have a look at the new uploaded test-videos to my youtubeaccount. Thank you.
Dear Rebeca,
Thank you very much for your response! I'm very happy about the compliment.
Best wishes,
