Fist - GREAT SITE! I havent used any of the clips YET but definately plan to on my next project. I write and produce radio commercials. Heres a sample from my last project. The background sounds were either recorded by me or used from a collection CD that I have. Looking forward to working with your clips. Cheers - Mike

Just so you know, at this moment all sounds on the site are released under Creative Commons Sampling Plus license. This license prohibits use for advertising, so you wouldn't be able to use them in your commercials (also see the Legal page from the menu on the left).
However, you can always contact the uploader and ask if you can use their sound. Most of us will let you, so there's no problem, but something to keep in mind.
Also, soon there'll be a new and improved Freesound, making it possible for uploaders to choose different licenses, even up to Public Domain. That'll make it easier for you to find sounds you can use, but you should always check the license to see if you can use it for commercial use and for use in advertising.
