I created the sounds in my free-to-play game using sounds from FreeSound, and wanted to thank all of you for your work. (The game credits also list all the sound files and link back to the creators' pages on FreeSound.)

Even though it's a text adventure game, I wanted all the areas the player visits to have their own distinct soundscapes: soft chimes and cosmic wind when you first fly out into the solar system, thumping and crashing rocks in the asteroid belt, booming thunder in the storms on Jupiter, et cetera.

I mixed everything down to mono MP3s in Audacity after layering the sounds together, adjusting pitch, et cetera. (It's a small game, so I wanted the files to be small.) Here's the complete list!
