I just uploaded this to Freesound:

https://freesound.org/people/The_Sample_Workshop/packs/34778/
if you have a sampler, load the samples and hit "automap"
otherwise the MIDI note numbers are in the file names.
thanks to ehproductions for the brilliant source material!

Metal Bar hit by Metal Stick multisample made with a mix of Freesound ehproductions: stange1, stange2 “metal bar hit by metal stick” (Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial 3.0 License). Granular/Wavetable Synthesized by Tom McLaughlin using Reason Europa and Grain softsynths, natural and digital chorusing with convolution reverb ambiance, source samples de-noised, EQ’d and multisample rendering mastered in Audacity, mapped and looped in Redmatica Keymap Pro using Penrose Machine Loops. (Uses sonic DNA of the audio to create an artificial loop with the same sonic properties. No two loops are exactly the same.) 38 notes in minor 3rds spanning C-1 to C8, 24 bit, 44.1kHz stereo. Note name and MIDI note number in audio file name. Keynote embedded in audio files. Load into sampler and hit “automap”. It sounds like a big metal pole in the mid and low registers - so I call it Polster. Loaded into a sampler, you can play around with the amplifier envelope and make it really short and percussive - or you can fade in the volume and make it a eerie, ethereal woodwind sound. Polster has an eerie, ethereal watery sound that blends well with waterphones. A big thank you to ehproductions for such brilliant and inspirational source material.
