Hi all,

After much delay and more software changes than is good for mankind, I'm very, very proud to announce that the Betontoon label has released my debut EP called 8pmcityscapes. 8pmcityscapes explores the urban after sunset through a blend of industrial metal, noisedrones, soundscapes and many field-recordings made in many cities. The EP is really focused on music and sound, the only vocals being several random dialogues or monologues recorded without an initial explicit relation to the EP. I played all instruments myself.

Freesound provided much inspiration for this EP. Interestingly though, I ended up making most of the samples myself anyway because that is so much fun. All the samples I made for this record are uploaded here over time so you can find them by searching my username (and, by the way, many more recordings that didn't end up at the EP!). However, I used some of the samples from other users. I want to thank you guys, for providing essential content:
