I am a student from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada.
I was wondering if any sound people on here would be interested in participating in a project I am doing as a final for my sound class.
It is about pronunciation of words. I have a few words I would like each person to try correctly pronounce. If you're up to it, I would like a sample file with as little noise as possible, and clear, audible speaking. If you don't pronounce the words correctly, that's 120% okay --- that is exactly what I want. Please don't be silly though, and sincerely try to say them right.
Here are the words:
Gdańsk
Kiełbasa
Parmesan / Parmagiano
Focaccia
Karolina Szablewska
Your name will not be published anywhere if you want to stay anonymous, but give me your name if you care about getting credit. The samples will be compiled into a larger piece of sound art.
Please leave a link here to your sound sample, or email it to kasza.art@gmail.com
Thanks a lot you guys,
Kars

Oh sorry, I must've spelt it wrong. My room mate gave me that one, since she's Italian and the whole parmesan thing bothers her here in Canada.
