Hi freesounders!
I have made a little javascript/html5 toy-experiment (toyxperiment? heh!). It is like a mix of granular synths with a sampler, where it allows you to play samples and adjust their looping points:
The default samples all come from freesound. I have modified them a bit (trimmed, changed stereo to mono, saved as OGG for the web... etc) but the filenames are intact so the sample id and author are still there.
Involved authors:
- elmomo
- mikjay
- djgriffin
- smallsushi
- oyenstikker
- jovica
- hanstimm
- andrew duke
- pushtobreak
- nosumo
- patchen
- rhumphries
- twistedlemon
- anton
- abinadimeza
You can load your favourite sample too (if it's accessible via a URL) and play with it.
It's a bit uncontrollable sometimes but you can get nice soundscapes, and the best thing is that you don't need to install anything - it just works in chrome/firefox. Say goodbye to office boredom!!
Well so that's it. Hope you like it!
