This is just a quick note to tell you about some free webgames I've just released. The sound effects used in the games are mixed & mashed with samples from Freesound. Find'em out if you wish, your work is credited at the bottom of each game's page:
http://oliverpearl.com/en/games.php (flash-like browser plugin required)
Feel free to post your feedback if you have some. And thanks to Bram and the contributors, without Freesound I'd have much more trouble designing my sound effects.
Have Fun!
You can't really access each game's page without installing the browser plug-in (which is secure, cross-browser, and small in filesize as described ).
And I don't see the point of showing the credits of something you won't see. Don't you agree?
Anyway, thanks for you interest harri.

Well hear you mean . I dont know if you've contacted the authors of the sound invidually but maybe harri is trying to figure out if his samples were perhaps utilized.
Cheers
Anton
Erm, legally you need to show who made the samples, so you better find a way to show who made the samples!
edit 1
also, it seems only fair that when you put "Bonbon Quest Copyright (c) 2005 Oliver Pearl, SARL. All rights reserved."in the Readme.txt you also mention the sounds you used from freesound...
edit 2:
ok, I see you only used the freesound sounds in the online games... I guess what you did should be enough. Would be nicer to put:
Sounds used from <a href="....">Freesound</a>:
<a href="http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=11582">freezer close</a> from <a href="http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/usersViewSingle.php?id=31600">samplecat</a>
<a href="...">bebops_water</a> from <a href="...">bebops</a>
<a href="...">bchair-06</a> from <a href="...">yawfle</a>

I'm really sorry for not being clear enough. I'm using freesounds in CrazyCrab and Treasures only. You can access them directly by clicking the links below, but you won't see nor hear anything without the Vitalize! plug-in. Credits are at the bottom of each page:
http://oliverpearl.com/en/webgames/treasures.php
http://oliverpearl.com/en/webgames/crazycrab.php
I took care of following the license applied to freesounds. Please tell me if I did something wrong.
Nono, you did right...
In order not to get confused too much, I changed the form of the attribution list.
It now only lists users and samples and no details.
It's probably a lot better now:
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/usersAttribution.php
and a HTML version for easy copy-pasting if you're creating a webpage:
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/usersAttribution.php?format=html

I agree with you Bram, it's much easier now especially for a webpage.
Credits now updated.
didn't mean to cause a kerfuffle guys
I just thought it would be useful / nice to know without having to try the application. I'm sure the games are really good and good luck with that. Despite my humongous ego demanding otherwise, i'm not too concerned whether my sounds were used or not.
