Dear Freesounders
I just wanted to write and express my admiration for this website. Freesound helped me complete an almost all-animated (stop-motion animated) feature film called "Glitch in the Grid".
Over the course of several months, I downloaded over 700 sound fx (my profile says 614, so maybe I reused some?) and used them to create the landscape of this film, which includes animation on the largest scale imaginable, such as animation of a hillside from a mile away.
I was blessed to be able to work with my brother Eric, director and animator (of the entire film), and I hope that I achieved an aural complexity and beauty in this work.
Thank you so much for contributing to this website, either through providing source material or donating to Freesound. I hope to contribute some SFX of my own some day, but for now I can only keep donating.
If you're curious about this film, see the teaser here:

With love,
Jeffrey Leiser

Why no attributions then?
