Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Could you please describe/tag your recently uploaded sound(s) in English. This will ensure that your sounds are discoverable in the search. Because our user-base is mainly English speaking, it makes sense to do this.
To amend the sound description, navigate to the sound's page click on the "edit sound information" button on the right hand side. I will approve the sound(s) once this is done for each outstanding ticket.
Many thanks and regards
Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound!
Please will you kindly attribute the authors of the audio you used from Freesound and link to their respective locations. This is to help users who want to download the sound but need a reference as to which original source material was used to make the composite.
Here is an example of what I'm asking from you: http://www.freesound.org/people/Madmightywhitey/sounds/382941/
Thanks for your cooperation and understanding
Kind regards
Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Please include in the description (if it applies), how it was created. What software, which recording device, where were samples taken from? Date, time and location are also great for field recordings.
To find the edit page: Click on your sound TITLE at the top right on this page. Follow the “EDIT SOUND INFORMATION” link in the bottom right sidebar.
Thanks!

Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Can you please clarify whether this sound is sample-based?
You can see more details about why we ask for this information in YOU SAMPLED A SYNTHESISER of the FAQ http://freesound.org/help/faq/#what-sounds-are-legal-to-put-on-freesound.
Thanks!
Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Please clarify: did the performer or voice actor/singer/speaker give permission to record and upload their voice to Freesound?
Thanks!
Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Freesound does not host produced music tracks, audiobooks or podcasts. Please see http://freesound.org/help/faq/#other-0 for suggestions on what sites can be used for music. Also consider http://opengameart.org for game music.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Freesound.org.
Freesound only hosts files that are not copyright infringing. Audio taken from copyright protected video, games, software, radio/broadcast, electronic sample-based toys, audio, compositions or voice recordings made without permission of the speakers are subject to copyright of their owners. Please do not upload other people’s copyrighted works (or excerpts from) without explicit permission from the copyright holders.
Thanks for your understanding!
The "Plural" templates can be used where a user has uploaded multiple sounds (usually 3+) that need adjustments. Instead of responding to each of his uploads (which will spam the user with quite a few emails), we can send only one response to one of his pending uploads - the "Plural" versions - which prevents needlessly spamming the user with a bunch of identical emails (which may get caught in their spam filter).
Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but before I can moderate it, could you possibly update the description/tags? Any details such as how it was created/any recorder used/any software used/date/location/etc are all extremely useful to help users find your sounds.
To change you description, first navigate to your sound's details page by clicking on the title/link then click "edit sound description"
Many thanks!
(If there is no response to this ticket within 2 weeks, the sound will be removed)

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but could you possibly add an English title, description and tags?
This doesn’t have to replace what you’ve already written – a simple bracketed translation after your text is more than enough! This will ensure that your sounds are discoverable in the search. Because our user-base is mainly English speaking, it makes sense to do this.
Also, any details such as how it was created/any recorder used/any software used/date/location/etc are all extremely useful to help users find your sounds.

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This music is awesome, but unfortunately extensive music is not allowed on this site. The sort of music that is allowed are typically loops, riffs, cells, usually under 1 minute - anything that could be used by users in their own music production to which they can add new material.
I do recommend uploading this to other sites that are more geared to music, such as SoundCloud, BandCamp or CCMixter.
Sorry about that and thanks for understanding!

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but can I just confirm that you recorded this? Or if you downloaded it from somewhere, could you possibly point me to it?
Also, just as a suggestion, it would be excellent if you could update the description. Any details such as how it was created/any recorder used/any software used/date/location/etc are all extremely useful to help users find your sounds.
Many thanks!

Hi there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but unfortunately the background music is a little too prominent. As a result, I won't be able to approve this sound as it could cause potential copyright issues to users that download and use this sound.
If you have a version with the background music gone, or lessened, I would be more than happy to approve it!
Thanks for understanding!

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but I've noticed that you have used a number of sounds from this site that have the 'Attribution' and 'Non-Commercial' license.
So before I approve this sound, could you possibly:
1) Update the license to the 'Attribution Non-Commercial' license.
2) Update the description to ask users to attribute the original sounds (as per their licenses), the sounds of which were:
a) [URL to sound, e.g.:] http://freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/71150/
(If I made any errors there, feel free to change it!)
An example of how you could write this would be:
These sounds I used have an attribution license, so please give credit to these users: -"Simulation of NASA (rocket) launch.wav" by Timbre of Freesound.org
You may copy and paste that into your description, or feel free to write your own.
As soon as you update the license and the description, I will approve your sound.
Many thanks!

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This is an awesome sound, but unfortunately I won't be able to approve it as it is currently copyrighted by [NAME] and you would need their permission to upload it here.
Otherwise this could cause potential legal issues should a user download and use this sound in their projects.
Sorry about that and thanks for understanding!

This sound is awesome and I am approving it, but I just want to suggest here if you could possibly update the description/tags. Things such as how it was created/recorder used/any software used/date/location/etc. are incredibly useful in helping users to find your sounds.

Hey there and thanks for contributing to Freesound.org!
This music is awesome and I am approving it, but I do just want to ask that for future music you upload here, do try to keep them under 1 minute if possible. The sort of music that is allowed are typically loops, riffs, cells - anything that could be used by users in their own music production to which they can add new material.
Anything more extensive than that would be more suitable for other websites geared to music, such as SoundCloud, BandCamp or CCMixter.
