Late May rain with thunder and noises(increased vol).wav

Afternoon rain, a light rain or drizzle.
Recorded with my desktop computer, an
HP Pavillion with Vista and Realtek audio.
Standard microphone. Since the rain was
not blowing in the door, I could hang
the mike out the door. Audacity was my
platform, with very little processing.
This version was recorded with the default amplitude at O db.

There is a little thunder now and then,
and birds chirping outside, mostly
catbirds or mockingbirds. At one point
one of my neighbors was outside talking,
the conversation is not distinguishable.

This recording is just over 37 minutes.
Since there was almost no wind or breeze, the rain is easy to hear. That
is when it falls on the sidewalk.
