NYC subway train arrives, doors open, announcement of direction, doors close, train departs. I stood on the platform at the Montrose L station with a Sony minidisc and recorded the entire process of a NYC subway train coming and going. Low noise, though you may wish to use a high-pass filter as there is so much bass in the material.
