I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a Zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then I isolated individual sounds and tweaked the EQ some in Adobe Audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? (I might try making some more versions of these).

Honestly... Not bad, especially sounds 1 2 and 5. That said however, you'd really need to not just repeat the echo for each shot at the end of a burst, but use just one of the reverbs maybe with some higher volume, and maybe add some appropriate sweeteners to make it sound like a more realistic tail. For sounds 4 and 5, I think what you've done works well, but for the rest it makes them sound odd. Another thing is that you can very slightly shift the pitch of shots up and down on a few of the shots during the burst for a somewhat more realistic effect, or add some short echos as the burst is happening towards the end but not after it.
