A short thunderstorm hit the jungles of Mollem National Park in Goa, India on 8th March, 2013. I was ready with my Edirol to record it with the built-in stereo microphone. It was a short and sweet one just to cool down the heat of the last two days. When the rains stopped the birds took over with their happy tweets.

Thanks. I'll use it in one of my Indian rain videos, due out in August 2022. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyjX7SnSup1iVGUC7dX9hkw

Is there a sound you would like me to record from San Diego, CA USA?

I, too, may use this is a project. It is a sound-of-the-day today, so you may be getting more listens today, I expect. If you'd not mind uploading the high-res, it would be appreciated. Best regards!

Thanks a lot. You are most welcome to use the sound in your film. If you require the high-res 24x92 version please let me know. Ambient sound recording just for fun is in its nascent stage in India now. If you need anything specific from India do let me know. I will try if possible. I have a better microphone now :-) Rode NT4.

Very nice, natural recording! I don't know if I have ever had a sound effect from India before! I can probably use this in a movie that we are making. Thanks for taking the time to upload your recording!
