Kalighat is an important temple in Calcutta. It has a market near the temple. This is the sound from that market when a traditional "band party" went by. These are poor musicians who for a fee play tunes on western instruments like trumpet and drums etc. These "parties" are hired by north Indian families during a wedding in the family or other celebrations like a puja.
