My fourth reconnaissance of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge was an attempt to record the sound reportedly generated by wind passing over the new walkway panels. Recorded August 20, 2020 using a Tascam DR-100 Mk3 recorder with a Rode NTG4 wired mic for ambient noise and a Schertler DYN-E-SET dynamic contact mic for the bridge itself. Original 96k x 24b wav mono recordings were made with a 120Hz low-cut filter unintentionally enabled. Normalized after session.
Sadly, the bridge did not "sing" this day, nor on a visit two weeks prior when I made no recordings.
