While searching a sound for another purpose, I used some packaging material with these little bubbles in it. If you squash them, they make "plopp". I was wondered that this sounds like a canon from a distance if you play it slower than the original. Recorded with a Beyerdynamic MC-930 and Fostex FR2LE.

How slow did you play this sample to get that effect? Is that all you did, slow it down? Or was there other processing as well? Really great!
