Brisbane born & raised but now based out of the beautiful Gold Coast Australia, Grant.R.D is a Bass Player, Programmer & Composer with over 17+ years music industry experience.

First getting his professional start back in 2001 playing bass for a renowned function band Grant worked hard & soon got noticed & started working in the pop music scene playing bass for various artist on Major & Independent labels. This then establishing him as a solid sideman, Grant got the opportunity to work with Australia Idols artist & later X-Factor contestants & other well know pop artists.

The entire time Grant managed to keep to his musical roots & crafted his skills playing on the local RnB & Blues scene, playing back street bars & all night jam sessions, making lifelong friends & knowledge you only learn by performing with seasoned musicians.

Now with a focus on music production & composition Grant is establishing himself as a creative, hard working composer. Grant has picked up multiple publishing deals and contracts to produce music for bands, artists & also film and TV. Grant has also released two solo albums, showcasing his wide-ranging skills as a bass player and producer alike.

Having also taught for many years Grant has a passion for teaching & sharing his experiences, passing on what he has learned to his students, inspiring them to grow as musicians & now through his writing helping fellow artists in all creative fields carve out the career they desire.
