Stereo recording of the singing bowls in the lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London. Named the "Long Player", this music installation has been seamlessly running since December 1999.
Recording captured (2013) using a Roland R-26 field recorder with 4 channels mixed together in Stereo (Omni + XY) from inside the lighthouse viewing platform. Edited in iZotope RX Advanced to remove background noises of other people.

The preview version of my files on Freesound are transcoded at a low bit-rate which produces artefacts (short high pitched blips) and a reduced sound quality. Please download to hear the original high quality sound file.
