Weak pass by front locomotive group coasting with stronger engine sounds from the rear group at the end of audio pushing. During the lead up and lead out you can hear the level crossing bells as well as the squeal of the tracks as the train approaches and leaves on a slight bend and lots of great rumblings, clangs, and droning from the passing rolling stock. Recorded with Roland R-07 fitted with Gutmann Fur Windscreen and sitting on small flexible foam tripod 6 inches off the ground and 8 feet back from rails on passenger platform. Top of recorder perpendicular to rail.
