I pick up some assorted craft store sea shells in a plastic bowl slowly dropping them back in softly then stir them with index finger around the bowl followed off by open fingered raking them back and forth at the end. Taken with Roland R-07 on foam tripod positioned at rim of bowl mics pointed downward into bowl.
In the spirit of sounds being free I don't process, resample, tweak, add effects or modify sounds in post other than trimming for desired bits to leave the sample as open as possible for everyone to rework, sample, and process as they see fit for use in a variety of different settings.
