This is my Dad's old lathe. He thinks it is from around the late 1940's with lots of exposed belt drives and pullies. Hence the interesting sounds it makes. this recording it is just switched on , left to rotate and then switched off - no metal cutting. Recorded on ipod touch 3G wtih blue mikey microphone and FiRe app.
