2025: More focused on landscape recordings and maybee a little Foley outside the studio. My sounds will mostly be ambiences (mountain, hill, forest, rivers, caves in sweden)
Currently using a Sony PCM D-100 for hiking and outdoor-activities. Testing out my Tascam X8 with external mics such as DPA 4060.
For bigger projects i use a Sound Devices 788 and my 4060. Have been using Sanken CMS-50 (MS-mic) in the past but looking to switch over to the Audio Technica BP4025 for big ambiences such as waterfalls and open landscapes.
Been using ORTF recently with mixed feelings, still prefer a wide AB or MS setup.
