City Square with busy traffic during lunchtime.
Location: Sweden, Stockholm, Slussen
Recorded on SD Mixpre-3 I with 2 Schoeps MK 40 module with GVC Angle in a ORTF-setup.
In Pro Tools Studio added a Low cut 85 Hz to reduce the bass and cut a very small amount of low mid. My first impression is that the setup sounds quite warm and detailed. It captures the "feel" of the environment and adds its classic warm low energy. Maybe its just me but i perceive the setup to be somewhat unbalanced in its stereo image but not too much.
Fun test but I prefer using DPA (2011) in AB or ORTF because it captures a great deal of detail and yet balances it out with the low and highs.
There's a similar recording of the same place and setup in my profile "Amb_Swed_City_Square_Traffic_Bus_1". It has more activity and life.
Hope it comes to some use for you!
