Hate to disappoint, but I used my digicam to do the recording - I took video and then stripped the audio with Audacity. So mp3 is the only format I have. I more temples would let the public try out the bells, I might think about investing in good equipment, but, alas, they don't....

I love the sound of temple bells, too. Thank you for letting us hear this.
It's a bit pity, however, that you cut the sound. I would like to hear the whole thing. I mean, I want it to last until the complete silence prevail. And I don't think you need to compress this sound; this is short enough. It'd be no problem if this was uncompressed PCM file.
