@1jmorrisoncafe392: of course, it is highly amplified -- just normalized, but that's the only processing from Audacity. I record in 24 bits, then normalize so that a maximum of the information is preserved when exporting to 16 bits, but of course such a sound should be used at a very low level in any mix.

I would say that the PC fans were highly amplified. Unless there was an A/C
unit in the background. I'm curious what this office sounds like with less processing
from the Audacity.
I like this a lot simply because it is my favorite type of ambience...smooth, white
noise.
