Making Cyprus coffee.mp3

This is an ambient recording of me making coffee at work.

Because i live in Cyprus I call it Cyprus coffee but in reality it is the same as Turkish, Greek, coffee in the middle east etc.

To make this type of coffee, we need a special coffee pot called the briki.
For this recording I used an electric one.

Quick description of the things you can hear.

I take a cup from the cupboard.
I put water in it.
I pour the water from the cup in to the briki.
I put the briki on its bass.
I go to the fridge and I take the coffee.
I keep it there to stay fresh.
I take a little spoon from the draw.
I put a spoon of coffee in to the briki.
I tern it on and I stir well.
I wait untill it is ready.
I pour the coffe in the cup and it is ready.
