This is a recording of a single hummingbird feeding at a feeder near a cluster of bee-balm in the rain. The volume level has been boosted (normalized).
The bird is a bit more than 2 feet from the mic for most of the recording, but passes in front of the mic near the end.
The recording ends with the sound of rain, a dog barking, and a catbird call.
This was recorded using an M-Audio Microtrack hanging from a string, using the "T" stereo mic that is standard with the unit.
